We work hard to make
your experience with RL King Construction positive. We count on your
satisfaction and your referrals for our future business. We strive to make
the process easy to understand, and easy to live with.
Step One - getting
together.
First, we meet to get acquainted and discuss your project. We try to get
to know you - how your family uses your home, what your tastes and
decorating style are like and what you are trying to accomplish with the
project you are considering. We will discuss your needs, your wants, your
timetable and your budget.
Step Two - creating the
design.
After meeting to discuss your project, we will put together a
comprehensive design, including computer-generated drawings and 3D
walk-throughs that will help you envision your plan. We will discuss this
design, and make any changes that may be necessary.
Step Three - putting it on
paper.
Once we have settled on a design, we will give you a thorough estimate of
the cost of your project. Once you have approved this estimate, we will
provide you with a contract that spells out exactly how your job will
unfold.
Step Three - getting ready
to start.
Once we have the design, the estimate and the contract in place, we will
provide you with a list of things to expect, including a detailed list of
the things you need to do to get ready for our crew, as well as some
safety tips for living in a construction area. We will agree on some
ground rules for preserving your sanity - like setting starting and
stopping times for our work crew and determining parking arrangements for
our vehicles.
Step Four - building your
project.
We do our utmost to minimize our intrusion into your daily lives. We will
protect your floors and other areas of your home from the traffic of the
job site, and do our best to control the dust and debris that comes along
with a remodeling project. Our crew will keep your job moving along to a
speedy conclusion with minimum disruption.
Step Five - enjoy your
completed project!
As soon as your project is complete, we will clean up the site, remove our
tools, and restore your home to its normal condition so you can start
enjoying your new space. Don't forget to invite Larry to your house
warming party!
